Scenic Painting for Covenant College's 2009 production of Bertolt Brecht's The Caucasian Chalk Circle. Fellow artist and Covenant student Tim Goldsmith designed the Persian-inspired patterns, to give a sense of the play's location in the Caucasus Mountains. The artist worked closely with him to bring his design to life, and while Tim painted the opposite sides of these double-sided flats in a color palette of greens, the artist painted the sides shown here in a red-based color palette.
